Our very own Prathap Parameswaran, now Assistant Professor in Civil Engineering at Kansas State University, is one of five recipients of the first award issued by the Kansas NSF EPSCoR supporting early career research related to Microbiomes of Aquatic, Plant and Soil Systems. Dr. Parameswaran’s project, Smart adaptation of enriched microbiomes in Recovered Nutrient Products (bio‐fertilizers) from anaerobic wastewater treatment to the native soil, is profiled in this article.
