In an ASU Lab Safety Innovation Awards event in December of 2019, executive vice president of the ASU Knowledge Enterprise and chief research and innovation officer, Sethuraman Panchanathan, and ASU Environmental Health and Safety leadership bestowed medals and monetary awards on the Biodesign Swette Center for Environmental Biotechnology to support the continued development and implementation of the safety innovations that earned us our award.
