Welcoming new undergraduate student, Alia Raderstorf

by Srivatsan Mohana Rangan

The Delgado lab welcomes Alia Raderstorf, an undergraduate student to the Biodesign Swette center for Environmental biotechnology. Alia is in the junior year of her environmental engineering program in the School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment. She wishes to explore her interest in environmental biotechnology by joining the Delgado lab and PhD student Aide Robles will be mentoring her during her research experience in the center. She plans to study microbial chain elongation along with bioremediation of chlorinated solvents and polyfluoalkyl substances (PFAS).

We welcome her to our research family and wish her all the best!

Srivatsan Mohana Rangan is a 3rd year Environmental Engineering PhD student in the school of sustainable energy and the built environment. His project involves bioremediation of heavy metals and chlorinated solvents from contaminated water resources.
